Kannur, 19th June 2017: Continuing on an aggressive network expansion drive to reach out to its vast customers in a more effective manner, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. today inaugurated its 12th dealership in Kannur, Kerala. Under the banner of Hara Motors, Yamaha inaugurated one of the expansive two wheeler dealerships of Kannur which is located at M K Towers, Podikundu in Kannur, Kerala.
Looking at the growing demand for two wheelers in Kerala, Yamaha has embarked on building a strong dealership network at this part of the country. The new showroom has been designed to provide a complete gamut of Yamaha's offerings and exhibit an entire range of bikes and scooters from Yamaha including all of its latest offerings. As a part of its inaugural offer, Hara Motors has announced free insurance on all models.
The New dealership Hara Motors covers an area of 8400 sq ft which will offer an entire range of Yamaha bikes and scooters with complete complement of sales, services and spare parts. The new dealership has been opened with the aim of meeting the growing demand for two wheelers in the Kerala / South Zone.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Roy Kurian, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. said, "Yamaha has been growing significantly in the state of Kerala with scooter segment reflecting 12% whereas deluxe segment making it to 20% of the market. Kannur is a significant market for Yamaha and the launch of new dealership will only support to reach out to new and potential customers in the state as well as the entire region. Yamaha has worked out on technologically advanced products which seamlessly serve the commuting and riding needs of its customers. The new dealership in Kannur is fully-equipped with Sales, Service & Spare Parts which will facilitate customers & also support the overall marketing strategy for the region."
In January 2017, Yamaha launched its all new powerful 249 cc Mid-class Street Fighter motorcycle FZ 25 in India at Rs. 1,23,543 (Ex showroom Kerala) to further boost its share in the premium segment. Over the years, Yamaha has been receiving enthusiastic response and reviews for its impressive range of products. As a part of its vision to grow as a personal mobility brand, Yamaha offers an attractive line-up including the new Cygnus Alpha disc brake version for family riding, the fashion scooter Fascino, unisex scooter Cygnus Ray Z and Cygnus Ray-ZR for real boys. Yamaha's drive towards network expansion aims at increasing service touch-points and ensure spare parts availability, which will further augment sales in the Kerala market. Yamaha will intensify its network expansion plan across the country from current 2900 customer touch-points to 4000 by the end of this year.
