Kolkata, 14th May 2018: India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. has announced the opening of its two new dealerships at Suri in Birbhum district and Purulia district of West Bengal. With the opening of Shree Balaji Automobiles at Rabindra Pally in Suri and Shyam Automobiles at Reny Road in Purulia, Yamaha will now have a total of 30 dealerships in West Bengal that will offer all its models available in the domestic market, an exclusive arena for sales, services and spare parts support. Spread across 7500 sq. feet and 5685 sq. feet respectively, these dealerships will focus in the regional non-urban markets to ensure promotion and publicity of exciting range of two wheelers from Yamaha, servicing support and spare parts availability, which in turn will further augment sales for West Bengal market.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Roy Kurian, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. said, “The two wheeler market of the eastern part of the country including West Bengal looks promising while it is growing at a quickening pace. The consumption pattern have been maturing too, as evident from the growth in both motorcycles and scooters. The new dealerships coupled with after sales will capitalize on the surging demand with the exciting range of two wheelers from Yamaha.”
